I think people like to use the word love a lot but are afraid to say it when they truly mean it, especially when it comes to their preferred sex (bi straight whatever). I have no idea what has happened to our society when love has become a game that too many people eagerly play without knowing, or caring, about the rules. I shall quote a friend in saying, “Since sex has been easier to get, love has been harder to find”
I may not be writing this at the right time for a positive outlook but people just seem to always be “in love” for such a short period of time. Some people are too excited by the search that they lose sight of what it is that they’re looking for in the first place. Maybe they chose to forget, feel like its not worth looking for or just gave up at actually finding it. I’m not too sure but I think we’re way past the point of return to the down to the core, no holds barred, raw, never-ending love.
Too bad for me, I’m still a sucker for a good romance. :)
